With free parking in Puerto Rico
If you are renting a car — and for El Yunque, the west coast or anywhere past the metro area you will want one — parking stops being a detail and becomes the thing that shapes your day. Old San Juan is the hardest: the streets are 16th-century width, most are one-way, and residential permit zones cover much of the quarter.
These homes include somewhere to put the car. Some have a dedicated space, some a garage, some a driveway. Each property page says which, because "parking included" covering a shared lot two streets away is a different proposition from a space at the door.
Worth knowing: Street parking in Old San Juan is public and first-come. Tickets and towing are the driver's responsibility, so read the signs before leaving a car overnight.

What to know
Do these Puerto Rico rentals include parking?
Yes. Every RentInPR home in this collection includes free parking, in one of three forms: a space assigned to the apartment, an unassigned space in the building's gated lot, or free public parking on the street, first come, first served. The home's own description usually says which one you get, and the difference matters most inside the old city.
Where a space comes with the home it is almost always one, so a second car goes on the street or into a paid garage. Some buildings run their lots on an access tag handed over at check-in, which has to go back in the lockbox when you leave. In Condado and Ocean Park the car can stay parked for days, since those listings describe the beach, restaurants and grocery stores as walkable; near the airport in Carolina, plan on a car or rideshare, as Sora's listing puts beaches, supermarkets and pharmacies a short drive away.
Old San Juan: the included space may be a walk away
Inside the walls, even an included space can be some distance from the door: Villa Mansion's is in a secure garage about five minutes away on foot, and its listing warns that street parking nearby is very limited. On the street, the municipality sets and enforces the rules, not the building, so the posted signs are what count. If your days in the city are mostly on foot, consider collecting the rental car only on the days you drive out of San Juan.
Tolls, AutoExpreso and the rental desk
The expressways out of the metro area include toll roads such as PR-22 west toward Dorado and PR-66 east toward Luquillo. Tolls there are charged electronically through AutoExpreso, Puerto Rico's electronic toll system, so ask at the rental desk how tolls on your car will be billed before you drive away. Rideshare thins out beyond the city: the Dorado listing notes that rides from the airport can be patchy late at night, and the Luquillo one that availability varies at weekends.
