Booking and payment

Selecting dates places a hold on those dates. The hold lasts 24 hours, during which payment must be completed through our payment provider. If payment is not completed within that window the hold is released automatically and the dates return to sale. No charge is made until you complete payment.

Payment is taken by ChargeAutomation on its own secure page and processed through Vacation Rent Payment. Card details never reach this website. If a payment attempt fails you can try again at any point inside the 24-hour window; the dates stay held until it closes.

Identity verification and rental agreement

Every booking requires the lead guest to verify their identity and accept a rental agreement. Both happen on the same secure page as payment, immediately after you pay — you will be asked to photograph a government-issued ID and to sign. This is a condition of staying, not an optional step, and it applies to every home on this site.

The document you upload goes to ChargeAutomation, not to us. If verification cannot be completed we will contact you before your arrival date.

Prices

Prices shown are per night in US dollars and vary by date. The total shown before you confirm includes the nightly rate, any cleaning fee and applicable Puerto Rico occupancy and sales tax. That figure is the figure you pay.

There is no service fee and no booking fee for booking direct. The comparison figures we show against Airbnb, Vrbo and Booking.com reflect the markup those platforms add to the same homes; they are indicative, not a quote from those sites.

Cancellations

Each home carries its own cancellation policy, shown before you confirm your booking. The policy that applies is the one displayed at the time you book.

Check in and check out

Unless a property page says otherwise, check-in is from 3pm and check-out is by 11am. A small number of homes check in from 4pm; the time on the property page is the one that applies.

Arrival is self-guided. The exact address, the door code and the access instructions are sent once your booking is paid and your identity is verified — not at the moment you book. If your flight lands late, tell us and we will make sure you can get in.

Minimum stay

Each home sets its own minimum number of nights, and it changes by season. The calendar on the property page will not let you select a stay shorter than the minimum for those dates, so what you can select is what we can honour.

House rules

Each home has its own rules, shown on its page. Booking a home means agreeing to them. Guest numbers must not exceed the maximum stated on the listing.

Damage

Guests are responsible for damage beyond normal wear during their stay. Where a security deposit applies it is stated before booking.

Availability

Our homes are also listed on other platforms and availability syncs continuously. In the rare event a booking cannot be honoured we will offer a comparable home or a full refund.

Who you are booking with

Bookings made here are with RentInPR, operating through Puerto Rico limited liability companies. We manage every home on this site ourselves — you are not booking through a marketplace that resells someone else's inventory, and the person who answers your email is the person responsible for the home.
