Privacy policy

What we collect
When you browse, we collect standard analytics — pages viewed, approximate location from your IP address, which site sent you, and how you moved through the site. None of that identifies you by name.
When you make a booking we collect what you type into the form: your name, email address, phone number if you give one, your stay dates, your guest count, and any note you add for us.
Payment information
We never see or store your card details. Payment happens on ChargeAutomation's own secure page, which charges through Vacation Rent Payment. Your card number never reaches this website or our servers, and we could not retrieve it if we wanted to.
ChargeAutomation also handles ID verification and the rental agreement, so any identity document you upload goes to them, not to us.
How we use it
To take and manage your booking, to contact you about your stay, and to understand which parts of the site are useful. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Only the services needed to run a booking. Naming them rather than describing them, so you can look each one up:
- Hostaway — our property-management system. Your booking, dates, contact details and any note you leave are stored there, because that is where the reservation lives.
- ChargeAutomation and Vacation Rent Payment — payment, ID verification and the rental agreement.
- Google Analytics 4 — anonymous usage measurement. It sets cookies and records an IP-derived approximate location, but we have not enabled any advertising or cross-site feature on it.
- Cloudflare — hosting and security for this website.
Each receives only what it needs. None of them is permitted to use your details for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
Booking records are kept in Hostaway for as long as we are legally required to keep them for tax and accounting, which in Puerto Rico is a minimum of six years. Analytics data expires automatically after 14 months. A booking that is never paid for is cancelled after 24 hours and the record is retained only as a cancelled reservation.
Cookies
Two kinds, and neither follows you around the internet:
- Analytics — Google Analytics, to count visits and see which pages are useful.
- Functional — your browser's own storage, used to remember the dates you picked so a refresh does not lose them, and to stop a double-click creating two bookings.
You can block cookies in your browser. The site still works; the booking flow may ask you to re-enter your dates.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete it. Where we are legally required to keep a booking record for tax purposes we will tell you so rather than quietly refusing. Email contact@bardiazadeh.com and a person will answer.
Children
This site is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. Children are of course welcome as guests — their details reach us through the adult making the booking.
