With a pool in Puerto Rico
A pool is what saves the afternoon when the Atlantic is too rough to swim, or when the children have had enough sand. Every home here comes with one, and every one of those pools is shared: a building pool on the city side, a community pool in the beach developments at Dorado. None is a private villa pool, so if that matters to your trip, message us before you book and we will tell you what each one is like.
On the city side the homes sit in Ocean Park and Isla Verde and near Condado, apartments a short walk from the sand, where the building pool is the calm option on a day of big surf. Some also have secure parking and backup power for the whole building, which counts for more than it sounds when the lights go out across the neighbourhood.
In Dorado, west of San Juan, the villas share their pool with a gated beach community, the sea a short walk away. That is the quieter version of the trip: a rental car, a supermarket run, and long afternoons between the pool and the beach.

What to know
Are there vacation rentals with a pool in Puerto Rico?
Yes, with one thing to know first: every pool on this page is shared. The apartments on the Ocean Park, Isla Verde and Condado side use their building's pool, and the Dorado villas use the community pool of Villas de Playa II, inside the gated Dorado del Mar development. If you are picturing a private villa pool, ask us before you book.
From the door to the water
At Beach Villa Dorado Del Mar, guests use a key to reach the resort-style pool, about two minutes' walk from the villa, and a residents-only gate opens onto the beach. OceanSide in Isla Verde pairs its building's pool with direct access to the sand. Luxe Beachside Oasis sets out pool hours in its house rules, and Casa Celeste describes its pool as shared with the rest of the building.

Beautiful home that’s newly renovated. Great location in a gated community with close neighbors on both sides. Neighbors wind-chimes were a bit annoying at night but other wise great stay.
