I had an amazing stay at this beautiful apartment on Sol Street in Old San Juan. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the historic district, surrounded by colorful streets, great restaurants, shops, and within walking distance to major landmarks like El Morro. The apartment itself was spotless, spacious, and full of charm, with high ceilings and classic architecture that really gave it an authentic Old San Juan feel. It had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen and laundry, which made the stay very comfortable. Despite being in such a lively area, it was quiet and peaceful at night. Everything was easily walkable, so we barely needed transportation. Overall, it was a perfect place to experience the culture and beauty of San Juan, and I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Rassam’s place in Old San Juan was an absolute gem. Perfectly located in the heart of the historic district, everything was within walking distance—cafés, restaurants, forts, and colorful streets full of life and history. The space was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up, making it easy to feel at home. Rassam was responsive, helpful, and made check-in seamless. A fantastic stay and highly recommended for anyone wanting the true Old San Juan experience.

My mother and I stayed here for a quick getaway, and it was absolutely perfect for our trip. The location is great, right in the heart of Old San Juan. As the listing accurately mentions, the stairs to the loft are very steep, so you'll just want to take your time going up and down! The space was exceptionally clean and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. As is common with traditional island homes without a central water heater, the shower water gets warm but not scalding hot, which was completely fine and expected. Our host was incredibly friendly communicative, and welcoming. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this lovely spot!

The host was great and very helpful with getting checked in, local recommendations and checked in a few times during the trip just to make sure everything was OK. The air conditioning works great, especially in the bedroom where it’s a very cold while the AC was on. Also, they had a powerful dehumidifier, which was helpful, the tank fills up after one day, but it was easily drained. I think anyone that would like to explore old San Juan would want to book this Airbnb because everything is within walking distance and you don’t need to rent a car. Also, if you are going to explore other areas, the Ubers are very cheap in or around San Juan.

Me and my parents had a lovely stay here and I would book again! The place was in the middle of old San Juan with walking distance to restaurants, shops and historical attractions like El Moro, Fortaleza and Cristobal fort. Would highly recommend for an easy and comfortable stay. The host was easy and friendly to communicate with and was very helpful in terms of guiding us through San Juan. Thank you!

Great host! The apartment is located in Old San Juan and a quick walk to any of the main areas. Also a short drive to the beach! We ran into some water issues and Rassam was quick and eager to help us out! I would definitely recommend.

Old San Juan is the walled colonial quarter founded in 1521 — a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and one of the oldest European-founded cities anywhere in the Americas.

Its streets are paved with adoquines, the blue-grey cobblestones cast from furnace slag and laid down centuries ago, and they run between pastel townhouses with wrought-iron balconies and interior courtyards. Castillo San Felipe del Morro and Castillo San Cristóbal anchor either end of the district, both part of the San Juan National Historic Site.
