The short version

Ten years doing one job properly

The company has been renting homes in Puerto Rico since 2015. That makes it the oldest vacation-rental company on the island, and the number one — an award-backed position rather than a line of marketing.

What a decade actually buys is unglamorous, and it is the reason guests come back: knowing which of our homes suits a family and which suits two people, how parking really works on a given street, which buildings have a lift and which are stairs only, and what the walk to the beach is like carrying a cooler. That kind of knowledge cannot be acquired remotely, and it does not fit in a listing description.

Superhost status has been held since 2020. Across every platform we have listed on since 2015, the rating is 9.9 out of 10 from more than 20,000 guest reviews. On this site, each home's score is worked out from its guests' four- and five-star reviews, 1,795 across the homes here, and its page prints a selection of them in full, with where each guest booked.

The portfolio runs to hundreds of homes across Puerto Rico, with stays from $242 for 3 nights and the cleaning fee included, and new ones join this site all the time. Everything you can see here is bookable tonight; nothing on this site is a placeholder or a home we hope to have one day.

Why local ownership matters

Who you are actually booking with

A Puerto Rico company, not a marketplace

RentInPR is owned in Puerto Rico and runs through Puerto Rico LLCs. It is fully legal and licensed here. When you book, you are dealing with the company that actually looks after the home — not a booking site reselling somebody else's inventory, and not an overseas operator with a local phone number.

The oldest name in Puerto Rico rentals

We have been renting homes on this island since 2015, which makes RentInPR the oldest vacation-rental company in Puerto Rico — and the number one, a position that is award-backed rather than self-declared. That length of record is the whole argument: a company doing this for a decade has already made the mistakes.

Superhost since 2020, and still the best price

Superhost status has been held since 2020, and the rating across every platform we have ever listed on is 9.9 out of 10 from more than 20,000 reviews. The rate here is the base rate — the same home costs more on Airbnb, Vrbo and Booking.com, every time.

Homes we know, in places we live

Every home on this site is one we host ourselves, in a neighbourhood we can describe from having been there this week: Old San Juan, Santurce, Carolina and the coast beyond them. Nobody is guessing which street is loud on a Friday night or which balcony catches the afternoon sun.

How hosting works here

From an open date to the door code

The full booking walk-through
  1. The calendar you see is the live one

Every home is also listed on the big platforms, and availability syncs across all of them within seconds. A date shown as open here is genuinely open, and it is re-checked against the live calendar before any reservation is confirmed.

  2. Your dates are held while you pay

Booking holds the dates immediately — they come off sale everywhere while they are yours. Nothing is charged at that point. You have 24 hours to complete payment, or 48 when your stay is a month or more away (until 30 minutes before check-in for a stay that starts within a day), with email and text reminders on the way, before the hold is released and the nights go back on sale.

  3. Payment happens on the next step

Card details go straight to our payment provider on their own secure page; they never touch our servers. There is no service fee on a direct booking, so the total is the nightly rate, the cleaning fee and tax. That is the whole bill.

  4. Then the boring, important part

Check-in instructions, the door code, the parking situation, what is in the kitchen. The same people who answer before you book are the ones who answer while you are staying.
