  I stayed here with my nephew for an overnight in Old San Juan and it was so worth it. The location is unbeatable, right in the middle of everything. There’s a pharmacy across the street, a gift shop next door, and historic sites just minutes away. Staying here let me soak up the charm and energy of Old San Juan, everyone should do it at least once! The place was clean and comfortable, the AC kept it super cool, and the host was very responsive when I needed help with Wi-Fi. The terrace overlooks the street and historic buildings, great for people-watching. A couple of things to keep in mind: • It’s on the third floor, no elevator, so luggage can be tiring. • Easy Uber rides, but you can walk almost anywhere. • Kitchen has what you need for coffee but no actual coffee, that would be a nice touch. • There’s a locked stairway to another floor inside the unit. I didn’t have any issues with it, but if you’re staying alone, just be aware there’s an interior access point you don’t control.

  Great location in the heart of old San Juan. Many restaurants and activities to do nearby. The apartment itself was clean and felt cozy. It’s high enough you don’t really hear much noise from the street as well

  We loved our stay in Old San Juan! The apartment is charming and the balcony is such a treat. We arrived late in the evening and I do think some added amenities like a couple water bottles or a water filter, as well as some face cloths could definitely improve the overall experience. The bed was comfy, AC worked great and we appreciate the easy and clear communication. Would recommend!

  Great stay! Would definitely return as everything is walkable like restaurants, stores, shopping, nightlife. Busy street but bedroom does not look at the street so always quiet for sleeping. Very nice rooftop and great OSJ experience. Just keep in mind that you will have to purchase most essentials, lots doesn’t come with the apt like laundry detergent or coffee despite having a washing machine and coffee maker. Thanks again!

  I cannot say enough good things about our experience at EasyStay! From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth, welcoming, and incredibly comfortable. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and felt like a true home away from home. Every detail was thoughtfully considered — from the plush towels and cozy bedding. It was great. The check-in process was seamless, and the host was not only responsive but genuinely kind and helpful. It’s rare to find a place that’s both stylish and functional, but EasyStay nailed it.   We had such a lovely time here! The location truly can’t be beat — it’s right in the center of Old San Juan, surrounded by great restaurants, cafés, a grocery store, and a pharmacy just steps away. Everything from lively bars to relaxing waterfront spots is within easy walking distance, which made exploring so convenient and fun. The apartment was bright, spacious, and had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked, and the living area was comfortable and welcoming. A few small things could use a refresh — the hallway and stairs weren’t as clean when we first arrived, and the bathroom could benefit from some updates, mainly the shower area and a bit more storage space. The balcony paint and floor wear are signs of age, but nothing that took away from our stay. Keep in mind that the 3rd fl apartment is on the top floor. No elevator. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit and would happily stay again. With just a few small touch-ups, this place would easily be a 5-star gem!

Old San Juan

Old San Juan is the walled colonial quarter founded in 1521, one of the oldest European-founded cities anywhere in the Americas; its forts and La Fortaleza are a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Its streets are paved with adoquines, the blue-grey cobblestones cast from furnace slag and laid down centuries ago, and they run between pastel townhouses with wrought-iron balconies and interior courtyards. Castillo San Felipe del Morro and Castillo San Cristóbal anchor either end of the district, both part of the San Juan National Historic Site.
