Santurce

This 2-bedroom 1-bathroom home in Santurce sleeps 4. Santurce is San Juan's arts district — the city's mural quarter and the home of its late-night food and music scene.
Welcome to Virelia House. A colorful San Juan stay with plenty of personality and room for four. This private apartment gives you two comfortable bedrooms, a full kitchen, a welcoming living area, and your own space to settle into between days around the city.
Whether your plans involve mornings by the water, exploring Old San Juan, beaches, trying local restaurants, nightlife or doing absolutely nothing for a few hours, Virelia gives you a comfortable place to come back to.
The apartment accommodates up to four guests across two bedrooms, each furnished with a queen bed and air conditioning.
There’s a separate living room for hanging out together, plus a kitchen where you can make breakfast, keep groceries and drinks, or cook when you’d rather stay in.
Virelia occupies the first floor, so you can walk directly into your level without carrying luggage upstairs.
The entire apartment is yours. Nothing inside the unit is shared with other guests.
Your arrival is completely self-guided.
You’ll receive the entry information before check-in, including the lockbox combination and instructions for getting through the exterior gate and into the apartment.
Once checked in, you can come and go as you please throughout your reservation.
There is no required host meetup at arrival or departure. If a question comes up, however, our team can be reached by message or phone 24/7 and will be happy to help.
This part of San Juan feels more like a very safe neighborhood than a resort strip, while still putting you within convenient reach of the places visitors usually come to experience.
Head toward the coast for Escambrón or Condado, spend an afternoon wandering Old San Juan, or explore the restaurants, cafés, bars, and local businesses scattered throughout the surrounding areas.
You can spend the day in the livelier parts of San Juan and return to a residential setting afterward.
A car isn’t necessary for every part of your stay. There are places you can reach on foot, and Uber is a practical option for getting around San Juan, particularly for dinners, nightlife, beach trips, and visits to other neighborhoods.
If you bring a vehicle, parking is on the surrounding public streets. Spaces are not assigned to the apartment and availability changes throughout the day.

Sara is an outstanding host! We had a temporary shortage of water during our stay, which was completely out of her control, but she still went above and beyond to offer us different options to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The home is in a safe, comfortable, quiet, and pleasant area. Everything about our stay was great, and we honestly have zero complaints. Sara was very accommodating and made sure we were taken care of throughout our stay. We will definitely stay here again! 100% recommended!

La Placita de Santurce works as a produce market by day and turns into one of the liveliest squares in the Caribbean after dark. The Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico sits a few blocks away, and the Santurce es Ley murals cover whole building faces across the barrio.
