The apartment has two separate bedrooms, each furnished with a queen bed and its own A/C. An additional queen air mattress is available when extra sleeping space is needed.

The main living area has a roomy sectional, additional seating, Smart TV, and A/C. It connects naturally with the rest of the home, giving everyone a comfortable place to spend time together between outings.

The kitchen has everything needed for anything from morning coffee to a full dinner, including a refrigerator, stove and oven, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker, cookware, dishes, glasses, and utensils.

The bathroom features a glass-enclosed walk-in shower, with towels and basic bath essentials supplied.

Outside is one of the home’s best features: a private patio surrounded by tropical greenery. There’s seating for relaxing outdoors and an electric grill for casual meals at home.

You’ll also have an in-unit washer and dryer, reliable Wi-Fi, and Smart TVs.

The apartment accommodates up to six people using the two queen beds and queen air mattress, although groups of four will have the most room to spread out.

A separate communal seating area within the gated property is also available to guests.

The apartment and its private outdoor patio are reserved exclusively for your group throughout the reservation.

Guests enter through the property’s secured exterior gate and can come and go independently during their stay.

You’ll also be welcome to use the communal seating space located within the gated property.

Punta Las Marías has a distinctly local rhythm: mornings near the Atlantic, residential streets around the home, and an impressive collection of places to eat and drink just beyond the neighborhood. The coastline here connects into the Ocean Park beach corridor, where the atmosphere is noticeably more casual than San Juan’s large resort areas.

When you’re ready for food, Calle Loíza puts an enormous variety within reach. What was once primarily a neighborhood commercial street has evolved into one of the city’s most interesting dining areas, with Puerto Rican cooking alongside taquerías, bakeries, brunch spots, cocktail bars, Asian restaurants and small independent businesses.

You can spend the morning by the water, come back home for a break, head out for coffee or dinner, and still be well positioned for the rest of San Juan.

Condado, Isla Verde and Old San Juan each offer a completely different side of the city, and Punta Las Marías sits conveniently between the places most visitors want to explore.

This is a good neighborhood for travelers who want San Juan outside their door, but don’t necessarily want a hotel district outside their window.

Think of the location in two layers.

For everyday vacation life, go on foot. Head out for coffee, grab something to eat, pick up essentials, or make your way toward the coast without automatically reaching for the car. Punta Las Marías is particularly convenient because beaches, restaurants, groceries and pharmacies are available around the surrounding coastal neighborhoods.

For exploring greater San Juan, use Uber or drive. The neighborhood’s location makes it easy to move west toward Ocean Park, Condado and historic Old San Juan, or east toward Isla Verde and the airport.

Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport is typically around a 10 to 15 minute drive from Punta Las Marías, depending on traffic.

A rental car isn’t essential if your trip is centered around San Juan. Rideshare plus walking is often the simpler combination. If you’re planning El Yunque, the mountains, west-coast beaches or other destinations outside the metro area, having a car becomes much more useful.

If you do bring one, there is no assigned parking space with the apartment. Parking is on surrounding public streets and availability can vary.

The best part of the location is flexibility: spend one day barely leaving the neighborhood and the next exploring completely different parts of San Juan without changing where you’re staying.

The apartment has one bathroom and accommodates a maximum of six guests. The additional sleeping option is a queen air mattress, which will use some of the available floor space while set up.

There is no reserved parking spot. Guests arriving by car use free public street parking in the surrounding neighborhood, subject to availability and posted restrictions.

The private patio and electric grill are for registered guests. Please keep outdoor noise reasonable out of consideration for nearby residents.

The additional seating area elsewhere on the property is communal and may be used by other guests or residents.

Smoking, pets, parties, and events are not permitted.

Electricity and water are included. Please turn off lights and A/C units when leaving the apartment.
