Maré is a private two-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment located on the top floor of the building. The space is designed to comfortably accommodate up to 4 guests.

Sleeping arrangements

Both bedrooms have their own air-conditioning units for individual comfort.

Living area

The main living space is bright and open, with large windows that bring in plenty of natural light. It includes comfortable seating, a TV, A/C, Wi-Fi, and a dining area.

Kitchen

The apartment has a full kitchen equipped for preparing meals during your stay, including a refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, coffee maker, cookware, dishes, glasses, utensils, and other everyday kitchen essentials.

Bathroom

There is one full bathroom with a shower and hot water.

Laundry

A private washer and dryer are located inside the apartment and are available for guest use.

Outdoor & common areas

While the apartment does not have a private patio or balcony, guests are welcome to enjoy the building’s shared tropical garden and common lounge areas.

Access

Maré is located on the third and top floor of the building. Access is by stairs only, and there is no elevator.

Guests have private access to the entire apartment throughout their reservation, including both bedrooms, bathroom, living and dining areas, kitchen, and in-unit washer and dryer.

Guests may also enjoy the building’s shared tropical garden and common lounge. These outdoor and common spaces are shared with other residents and guests and are not exclusive to the apartment.

There is no assigned or dedicated parking space for the unit. Free street parking is available around the building on a first-come, first-served basis.

Maré offers self check-in, so guests can arrive and access the apartment independently without needing to coordinate an in-person meeting.

We give our guests privacy throughout their stay, but our team is available by message if you have questions, need assistance, or would like local recommendations.

We will only access the apartment during a reservation if assistance is requested, maintenance is necessary, or there is an emergency.

Maré is located in Punta Las Marías, a relaxed coastal neighborhood between Ocean Park and Isla Verde.

The area gives you easy access to the beach while keeping you close to some of San Juan’s best dining and entertainment. Ocean Park, Calle Loíza, Parque Barbosa, restaurants, cafés, pharmacies, grocery stores, and other everyday essentials are all nearby.

Calle Loíza is especially popular for its mix of local restaurants, coffee shops, bars, bakeries, and independent businesses.

From here, guests can easily explore Isla Verde, Condado, Santurce, and Old San Juan while returning to a more residential neighborhood near the coast.

Many everyday spots can be reached on foot, including nearby beaches, restaurants, cafés, pharmacy, and grocery options.

Uber and other rideshare services are an easy way to explore San Juan without renting a car. By car, Isla Verde is approximately 5–7 minutes away, Condado about 8–10 minutes, Old San Juan about 12–15 minutes, and Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport about 10 minutes away, depending on traffic.

If you are driving, the apartment does not include a private or assigned parking space. Free public street parking is available around the building on a first-come, first-served basis.

Public buses are also available along the nearby Calle Loíza corridor.
