Effective date: December 27, 2025

Welcome to RentInPR.com (the “Site”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Site and any reservation made through it.

By accessing the Site or completing a booking, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1) Definitions

• “We,” “us,” “our” means RentInPR.com and its operators.

• “You,” “guest,” “user” means any person using the Site or making a reservation.

• “Property” means a vacation rental listed on the Site.

• “Reservation” means a confirmed booking for a Property.

• “House Rules” means the rules for a Property shown in the listing, at checkout, in your confirmation, and/or in pre-arrival instructions.

2) Use of the Site

You agree not to:

• misuse, scrape, or reverse engineer the Site

• attempt unauthorized access to accounts or systems

• submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information

• interfere with security, availability, or performance

We may refuse service, restrict access, or cancel reservations to the extent permitted by law for suspected fraud, abuse, or safety reasons.

3) Listings, Accuracy, and Availability

We aim to keep listing details accurate, but availability, pricing, and amenities can change. Photos may represent typical conditions and may change over time due to updates, repairs, or seasonal factors.

We may correct errors and update listings at any time.

4) Reservations and Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (and meet any higher minimum age requirement stated in a listing) to book.

We may require additional verification to protect guests and prevent fraud. If required information is not provided promptly, we may cancel the Reservation.

5) Payments, Fees, and Deposits

When you book, you authorize us (and our payment processor) to charge your payment method for the total shown at checkout, which may include:

• nightly rate

• cleaning fee and other property fees (if applicable)

• taxes

• refundable security deposit or authorization hold (if applicable)

If a deposit or authorization hold is used, you authorize us to place a hold and later capture or charge amounts permitted by these Terms and the House Rules for documented damages, excessive cleaning, missing items, unauthorized guests, smoking violations, or other costs.

6) Cancellation, Refunds, and Booking Changes Policy

This section is part of these Terms and applies to every reservation.

A) The policy that applies to your reservation

The cancellation and refund policy shown at checkout and included in your booking confirmation controls your reservation.

Because properties and seasons vary, policies may differ by property, date range, or stay length.

By booking, you agree to the policy shown at checkout and in your confirmation.

B) Refund rules

• If your reservation is refundable under the applicable policy, refunds are issued to the original payment method.

• If partially refundable, the refundable amount follows that policy exactly.

• If non-refundable, no refund is provided unless required by law.

Refund timing depends on banks and payment processors and may take several business days after approval.

C) Date changes, extensions, and modifications

Any change request is subject to availability and may change:

• price

• minimum night rules

• cancellation/refund terms

• taxes and fees

We are not required to approve changes.

D) No-shows and early departures

No-shows and early departures are generally non-refundable unless the reservation policy explicitly allows it or applicable law requires it.

E) Travel disruptions and weather (Force Majeure)

Puerto Rico is a tropical destination and weather events can happen. We are not responsible for disruptions beyond our control including hurricanes, storms, flooding, power outages, water outages, airline cancellations, road closures, government orders, or similar events.

Refunds in these situations follow the cancellation policy that applies to your reservation unless required by law.

F) Issues during the stay: duty to report

If something is wrong during your stay, you must contact us promptly at Info@rentinpr.com and allow a reasonable opportunity to troubleshoot or remedy the issue.

Refund requests may be denied if:

• issues were not reported promptly during the stay, or

• a reasonable remedy was offered and declined, or

• the issue was caused by guest misuse or rule violations.

G) Fraud and policy abuse

We may refuse refunds or cancel reservations where allowed by law if we reasonably believe there is fraud, chargeback abuse, false claims, or material House Rule violations.

7) Guest Responsibilities

You agree to:

• follow House Rules and local laws

• respect neighbors and quiet hours

• keep occupancy within limits

• avoid parties or events unless explicitly approved in writing

• comply with no-smoking rules (if applicable)

• comply with pet rules (if applicable)

• keep the property secure and in good condition

• report damages or issues promptly

You are responsible for everyone in your party and any visitors you allow onto the property.

8) Damages, Extra Cleaning, and Charge Authorization

You authorize charges for documented costs including:

• repair or replacement of damaged items

• excessive cleaning beyond standard turnover

• smoke remediation

• missing keys, lock replacement, locksmith services

• fines or costs assessed due to guest actions, where permitted by law

• costs resulting from unauthorized guests, pets, parties, or rule violations

We will use reasonable documentation and itemization.

9) Maintenance, Repairs, and Amenity Interruptions

Properties may require maintenance. We will make reasonable efforts to address reported issues.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted amenities or services such as Wi-Fi, cable, electricity, water, A/C, pool systems, or hot tubs. Where an outage materially affects the stay, any remedy is at our discretion unless required by law and will depend on timing, cause, severity, and whether we can fix it.

10) Safety and Assumption of Risk

You understand that travel and short-term rentals include risks, including stairs, balconies, pools, beach conditions, weather, and local conditions.

You assume responsibility for assessing risks for yourself and your party and using the property safely.

11) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• the Site and services are provided “as is” and “as available”

• we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages

• we are not liable for loss of personal items, theft, or events outside our control

• our total liability for any claim related to a reservation will not exceed the amounts you paid to us for that reservation, except where such limits are prohibited by law

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits, so some provisions may not apply.

12) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

• your use of the Site

• your reservation or stay

• your violation of House Rules or these Terms

• negligence or misconduct by you or your party

• unauthorized or illegal activity by you or your party

13) Disputes and Chargebacks

Before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute, you agree to contact us at Info@rentinpr.com and provide a reasonable opportunity to review and respond.

Where permitted by law, abusive chargebacks or fraudulent disputes may result in account restrictions and collection actions.

14) Intellectual Property

All Site content is owned by us or licensed to us and protected by law. You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, or reuse content without written permission.

15) Third-Party Services

We may use third-party services for booking, payments, analytics, verification, messaging, and fraud prevention. Their separate terms may apply.

16) Termination and Refusal of Service

To the extent permitted by law, we may refuse service or cancel reservations for fraud prevention, safety concerns, rule violations, or non-compliance with these Terms.

17) Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Puerto Rico, without regard to conflict of law principles. Venue for disputes will be in courts located in Puerto Rico unless a different venue is required by law.

18) Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. The effective date will reflect the latest version. Continued use of the Site means you accept the updated Terms.
